Advantages Turbocharged engine and four-wheel drive option; versatile and voluptuous interior with genuine 3rd row space; high tech features; refined ride. Disadvantages Less maximum cargo capacity unlike rivals; hard to use MyFord Touch system; standard 2nd row bench doesn’t slide. 2012 Ford Explorer EcoBoost first drive

Many times, its seen that most of the car buying public in their quest to SUVs, be they big or small, eventually land up at a Ford show room. Ford are notorious in the aspect that they have built a reputation for themselves for being the best manufacturing force as far as SUVs are concerned. Not only this, they are also credited with going eco in a big way. Case in study is the 2012 Ford Explorer EcoBoost with its EcoBoost technology. The last time around, I had reported that manufacturers are going green by improving their technology but downsizing purely on the engine capacity. The sight of the Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 is luring us time and again to take a spin in it. Not long ago, we did have this car in here for a review however, the short time that it spent with us made our grey cells reminisce about the possibility of getting this car in here with another excuse. Now that excuse must be something hotshot or otherwise Hyundai would definitely be raising their eyebrows and this came up in the form of our editor thinking of doing a V6 comparison which would not only include the Hyundai but also the Ford Mustang V6 as also the Nissan 370Z.
